Horizon Housing Society is a not for profit registered charitable organization specializing in affordable housing within the City of Calgary. We are primarily responsible for the acquisition and property management of our buildings, while collaborating with other community organizations that refer tenants or provide the necessary services and or support they require.

"On the Horizon" provides a yearly update on Horizon Housing Society. The feature story of this year's newsletter is about how our tenant’s experienced a little extra holiday cheer this year.

On September 8, 2011, The Government of Alberta announced that Horizon Housing Society would receive $10.7 million to help purchase a 100 unit apartment building in the City of Calgary.
